Why my PCL kinfuLargeScale Project only get INT point cloud data?

I use the kinfuLargeScale class to get point cloud of indoor room by a Kinect2 deep camera. But the 'world.pcd', the point cloud data, only contains INT data.
---I check the source code and find that the data structure holding points is supposed to save it as FLOAT.
---I check the documentation and it says " use KinFu Large Scale to produce a mesh' (in meters)' from a room"
------- What does it mean 'in meters'.
-------Is it because of the algorithm itself or my camera device?
-------How can I change it from INT to Float to have a better precision?
